Breton Industries is the proud owner and manufacturer of the BlastTac® line. BlastTac is proud to offer FireMax® fire protection across a wide variety of applications.
BlastTac is proud to partner with CarbonX®, a leading provider of fire-resistant fabric, to create FireMax®. FireMax can be applied to any one of our series across the BlastTac line and is designed to provide additional high-temperature, arc flash, chemical and fire protection to the existing ballistic, blast and frag protection included in each of our series.
FireMax blankets and curtains shed molten metal, flammable liquids and other molten substances. As a result, they are re-usable even after direct flame and extreme heat exposure. FireMax now offers its own line of FM series thermal blankets and curtains for exclusively fire protection. The FM series is truly non-flammable as our custom woven fabric will not burn, melt, or ignite. BlastTac blankets and curtains are easy to use as they are lightweight, flexible and odor resistant. They are water resistant and durable in harsh weather conditions due to the patented EPIC encapsulated barrier of silicone.
